Orders are packed in Basel, Switzerland. Eligible small, ambient orders headed to the European Union may be tendered from our German drop point in Weil am Rhein so the lane stays inside the EU. Cold-chain and living-cell orders ship from Basel.
Carriers and rates
The cart quotes Swiss Post for domestic Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and DHL Express and FedEx for international destinations. Packaging materials are shown separately. If no live carrier rate is available, the cart falls back to the published zone rates and labels the option as an estimate.

Handling and estimated transit
Orders are picked, packed, and handed to the carrier within one business day. Transit time depends on the destination and the carrier service selected. The cart shows an estimated lead time for every option. These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.
Packaging and cold chain
- Ambient items ship in a padded mailer or a small corrugated box.
- Refrigerated reagents ship in an insulated polystyrene shipper with two pre-frozen gel packs, designed to hold 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for about 48 hours.
- Living cells ship in an insulated shipper with two air-activated hand warmers, on express services only.
- Dry ice is not offered automatically. If you need it, email us for a manual quote before ordering.
Pickup in Basel
Pickup in Basel is free. Select the pickup option in the cart and we will confirm the handover details by email.
Import duties and taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees at the destination. The buyer is responsible for those charges. They are not included in the product price or the shipping quote.
