A small scientific consultancy with a real lab bench
Lamb Consulting combines experimental work, business support, and research reagents from Basel, Switzerland. Founded in 2022 by Antonio Lamb.
What we do
We support early-stage biotech with experimental design, molecular cloning, project coordination, scientific writing, business planning, and fundraising preparation. The work runs alongside Lambda Biolab, a shared BSL-1 laboratory in Basel, and Lambda Compute, our remote compute service. The Renegade Reagents shop supplies research reagents, plasmids, live cells, and merchandise.
Founder
Antonio Lamb is a Swedish-American molecular biologist and entrepreneur based in Basel. He founded Mackenzie-Lamb Consulting in 2022 after research roles at the University of Zürich and Novartis, and after co-founding MicroSynbiotiX. His work spans immunology, molecular biology, lab operations, and early-stage company building.
Antonio is the author of a patent on DNA constructs for vaccines and a peer-reviewed article in Fish & Shellfish Immunology. He is also a RebelBio / SOSV accelerator alumnus.
